Twist 'N' Glide started with a simple frustration — getting around Tulum shouldn't be this expensive, this unreliable or this stressful. We built the alternative.
We arrived in Tulum and quickly realised that getting around was a problem everyone was solving badly — overpriced taxis that might or might not show up, scooters that got stopped by police, rental cars that cost more in parking than petrol.
The solution was obvious in hindsight: premium electric bikes, delivered to hotels by someone who actually knows the town, supported by a WhatsApp number that gets answered. Twist 'N' Glide launched in 2025 with a small fleet and has grown steadily — because the product works and guests come back.
Today the fleet is 20+ bikes. La Abuelita — our 1966 Ford F100 — handles deliveries across the beach zone and town every morning. The team is small, hands-on and genuinely passionate about Tulum.
